Comfortable magic carpet! Review by Steven
I really love the 80mm wheels for urban/street skating. Plenty fast without the clumsiness of larger wheels. Exceptional ankle stability. I agree with the reviewer below that the upper calf strap is a tad fidgety, and I have considered removing it altogether as the laces are adequate, and the ankle strap works well and lock the heel into the boot operationally. One thing great about Seba is that the straps are all removable and replaceable.

For anyone who wants to see urban inline skating with a touch of freestyle youtube search Bill Stoppard, a Toronto skater with a hard charging style. I, personally, would never want 90-100-110mm wheels as they raise the center of gravity and the work of the ankles, as well as lengthen the frames. Curbs, stairs, backward skating, potholes, no problem for 80mm Sebas.

My shoe size is a comfortable 9 and with that I have a good cm or so beyond my great toe. I wanted an inline that is tight for freestyle and urban, but not uncomfortable. I debated for days about which size to order, and Seba generally has one measure their foot and get a size. My foot is 9.95 inches, which is about 25.3 cm, or 253 mm. On the Seba charts for the FR skates (see online, search) it said I could get in a EU size 39 or 40. I went with a 41 on a hunch. It's a perfect fit. I have a modestly wide foot; it's certainly not narrow, so it's on the wider side. The FR skates are known to be wider in the toe box than the Highs/High Lights, so this played a factor in my decision to buy FRs.

Note: this skate has a removable liner, and some would say that it may move in the hard shell and lose energy and I think that's ballyhoo since it's tight in the skate and the laces go through the boot in three lace holes on each side. The removable liner is washable (hand wash in sink), replaceable, and adds to the customization of the skate, for instance if I have to "blow out" an area of the hard boot because of a hot spot, tight, I can with a heat gun (search online videos) by removing the liner. So, I'm a huge fan of removable liners instead of liners attached to the boot permanently.

Hope this helps. Bye now. Skate hard! (Posted on 6/23/2016)
Great Skate for Freeride Review by FR1
I ordered the 84mm FR1's. My only complaint is that the 82A wheels wear very fast and require rotating after every 2-3 sessions. Overall, though, the quality is fantastic and the skates fit exactly as expected (after using the Seba fit guide). (Posted on 6/11/2016)
Great so far Review by Houstoninline
I've only had them for a couple of weeks now, but the comfort and ride is great! I was worried about a break-in period but had been satisfied with the comfort from first try on. I have the 84mm wheels and I'd recommend them for a good blend between speed and control (Posted on 5/28/2016)
Heavy, but comfortable Review by FRGL1
* Wide boot bit
* Adjustable ankle cuff articulation
* Pump ankle strap
* Cuff buckles are concealed while skating
* 7x7 mounting plate configuration

* Heavy, cumbersome
* Poor ventilation
* Ankle strap sticks out while skating

The pump ankle strap is the real reason you want a SEBA FR. My only complaint is that it sticks out while skating, unlike the cuff strap which can be concealed. The downside to having the concealed cuff strap is that it can sometimes be difficult to properly tighten.

The skate suffers from weight and poor ventilation. The boot is one solid piece with no holes for ventilation at the bottom or sides, which is great for stability but makes the whole skate bottom heavy with nowhere for heat and moisture to go but up.

For everything else, this skate is golden. If you were even thinking about buying a RollerBlade Twister 80/Pro, stop: SEBAs are better. (Posted on 9/9/2015)
